These cables are designed for low tension (LT) and high tension (HT) applications, offering high performance and durability.

Key features of Finolex XLPE Armoured Cables:

• Insulation: XLPE provides superior insulation properties with high operating temperature and excellent resistance to moisture and chemicals.

• Conductor: Typically made from aluminium (also available in copper variants), available in sizes from small cross-sections (e.g., 2.5 sq.mm) to very large sizes (up to 400 sq.mm in multicore, and up to 1000 sq.mm in single core).

• Armour: Aluminium wire armour for mechanical protection, suitable for industrial and underground installations.

• Voltage rating: Usually 1.1 kV (1100V) for LT cables, with options for HT cables rated for higher voltages (3.3 kV and above).

• Sheath: Options include flame retardant (FR), flame retardant low smoke halogen-free (FRLSH), and low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) for enhanced fire safety.
