Siemens SITOR semiconductor protection fuses are designed for ultra-fast, reliable protection of sensitive power electronics (such as diodes, thyristors, and IGBTs) against short circuits. The SITOR range includes different operational classes—aR (partial-range, back-up), gR (full-range), and gS (full range, dual-purpose)—all tailored for the high speed and low energy let-through demanded by semiconductor devices.
